Dr. Alex Goncalves received his degree from UC Berkeley, School of Optometry in 1981 after completing his undergraduate degree at UC Davis. He has served as a past President of the Sacramento Valley Optometric Society and as a VSP Professional Relations Consultant. Dr. Goncalves is a native of Sacramento and has been in private practice since 1981. Additional professional associations include Member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, and Sacramento Valley Optometric Association.
Dr. Marvin Nakamoto received his degree from UC Berkeley, School of Optometry in 1986 after completing his undergraduate work at UC Berkeley. He is a consultant for the Professional Relations Department of VSP. In addition, he has served as a Low Vision Clinical Instructor for UC Berkeley School of Optometry at the Society for the Blind in Sacramento. Dr. Andrew Kageyama is an Elk Grove native who received his Bachelors of Science (B.S.) in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles and his Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) from the State University of New York. Following graduation from optometry school, Dr. Kageyama completed his residency in Primary Care Optometry and Ocular Disease at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia.
